Why patients choose White32

Dentistry that starts by listening

Before anyone recommends anything, we want to understand what you actually want from your smile. Then the decisions are yours.

Listen first, recommend second.

Your exam starts with your priorities, and Dr. White's attention stays on them.

A full-time hygienist, not a temp.

You'll see the same hygienist at your next cleaning too, someone who already knows your history and your goals.

You leave with a written plan.

What's urgent, what can wait, and what each option costs.

We're passionate about your oral health.

Your mouth is the front door to your overall health, and problems like decay and gum disease don't announce themselves until they hurt. We care enough to catch them early.

Nervous? You're in good company

Haven't been in years? No judgment. Seriously.

A lot of our patients felt anxious before their first visit. Here's how we handle it.

Worried about pain?

We don't start until you're numb and comfortable. Need a break? Raise your hand.

Been away a while?

We listen first. You'll get a plain-language explanation of what we find and a plan that fits your budget.

Had a rough experience elsewhere?

Rushed visits, pressure to commit, plans you never quite understood. We hear it often, and here every decision is yours to make.

Watching the budget?

Every cost is on the table upfront, and monthly plans through HFD, Cherry, and other partners can spread larger treatment out.

Your doctor

Meet Dr. Charles White

UNC Chapel Hill · VA Medical Center · Practice Owner

Dr. White trained in complex restorative care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center here in Washington, and his gentle touch is the single most-mentioned thing in patient reviews. After surgery, a member of his team personally checks in to make sure you're healing comfortably.

He's joined by Dr. Julie Park, who studied at Stanford before earning her dental degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and completing surgical residency training at Bellevue Hospital in New York. She sees patients for restorative and surgical care.

Questions patients ask us

Are consultations really complimentary?

Yes. Consultations and second opinions are complimentary. If another office has handed you a treatment plan and you would like a second set of eyes on it, bring it with you.

Do you take my insurance?

We bill all major insurance plans, and our team verifies your benefits and helps you understand them before your visit. The $99 emergency exam may be covered by your insurance plan. Prefer monthly payments? Payment plans are available through HFD (Healthcare Finance Direct), Cherry, Proceed Finance, CareCredit, Sunbit, Allegro, Lending Club, and Alphaeon. The one plan we are unable to accept is Medicaid.

Can I really be seen the same day for an emergency?

Yes. Emergency patients come first. Call and we will do our best to see you today. The $99 emergency special covers your exam and X-ray, and may be covered by your insurance.

What happens at my first visit?

After a few quick intake forms (every office has them), the real visit begins with a conversation. A thorough exam follows, with digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and everything shown to you on screen. You leave with a written plan: what is urgent, what can wait, and what each option costs. Nobody asks you to decide on the spot.

I haven't seen a dentist in years. Will I be judged?

No, and you will not be lectured either. We see patients every week who have been away for years. We listen first, explain things in plain language, and build a plan around your timeline and budget.

Where do I park?

There is an on-site parking garage at Foxhall Square, with easy access from Canal Road for patients coming in from Maryland and Virginia.

Beyond the District

Families drive in from across the DMV

You don't have to live in D.C. to be a White32 patient. Families come from Bethesda, Chevy Chase, McLean, and Arlington every week. With quick access from Canal Road and on-site parking, the trip is often easier than fighting your way downtown.
